Mouse and touch
- A unit card: a tap buys one, holding buys several in a row.
- The Repeat and Undo buttons: manage the wave before it leaves for the field.
- The Castle button: upgrades for the castle, attack, armor and workshops.
- The spell button: press it first, then a point on the battlefield; press the button again to cancel the selection.
- Tooltips: on a computer hover over a unit card to see its stats and ability.
Speed and pause
In a battle against a bot the ×1 / ×2 / ×4 button speeds up time and the II button pauses and opens the sound settings. In an online battle against a player there is no speed-up and pause does not stop time: the menu only lets you surrender.
Sound
Music and sounds are set with sliders in the pause menu and turned off with the M and N keys. The volume is remembered. Sound mutes when the tab is hidden.
Phone
- Keep the screen horizontal: in portrait a hint to rotate the device appears.
- The interface adapts to the screen size: buttons are at least 44 pixels, as touch usability rules require.
- The chat can be collapsed into a small tab so it does not cover the field.
- The game does not pause when the browser is minimized: in an online battle time keeps running, so do not switch away for long.
Language
The Russian version opens at warhosts.ru, the English one at warhosts.ru/en/. The RU | EN switch is in the top right corner of the game menu and in the header of the handbook pages.
FAQ
How do I play on a phone?
Open the site in your browser and turn the phone sideways. Tap the unit cards with your finger; the buttons at the bottom of the screen are large enough for touch.
